Indian visa application from Bangkok
Anyone have any recent experience of successfully getting a 6-month Indian visa whilst in Bangkok, or from anywhere else in Asia? I am a UK citizen, currently in Nepal and need to ensure I get the full 6 month stay in India. Would rather travel to a different Asian city to increase my chances, than have to go all the way home!Thanks

Have you tried already in Kathmandu? I'm also British and managed to get a 6-month visa in Kathmandu about a year and a half ago, though I did have to go to the consulate 4 times in order to convince them to give me 6 months. Persistence might get you somewhere...3
KTM is only giving 3 months..... Last year had great luck in Rangoon Burma....in fact they were the only ones giving 6 for a while.. NO guarantees though......Edited by: TravellinAndi
