El Salvador - bus report!

After a week or so of wandering around ES by aid of the local buses, I was inspired to write about my impressions - enjoy!

Just about sums it up although once you get off the highways bus travel is REALLY slow. Allow plenty of time to get to where you want to go

I always take the bus and enjoyed reading your report.
Since many routes run frequently, I sometimes pass up a very jam packed bus and hope the next one will have a choice of seats. Some things I look for: being near a window that actually opens and away from any speakers that may have blasting music. If I plan to get off before the last stop, I will also look for a place near the exit door.

Anyway, you get to know all these tips and more. I still find bus travel more relaxing than driving...cheaper too. I have met nice people on the bus also. The stories they have told me about their lives still stick with me.
