I am not sure of what your shipping (size/weight etc) but can offer advice if sending small items.

Me and a friend post small gifts and cards etc on occasions. When I send from UK the Royal Mail always deliver in approx 3-weeks standard delivery. From Colombia to UK can be trickky. The only way I can receive from Colombia to UK is via the local post 4-72 http://www.4-72.com.co/ when my friend uses shipping companies such as UPS and FedEx they say the items have been delivered and signed for yet I receive nothing? This has happened on several occasion once FedEx stated the address did not exist yet a delivery driver for them lives on my street?

wow. Thats kindof worrying. did they pay for the stuff they lost? The local post is probably much better. Do you know roughly how much it costs? Ive tried asking but can only get quotes for airfreight.
