Help! - Advice neededSo, I booked flights to Bogotá last week.
I plan on travelling Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina & Brazil (Maybe Ecuador as well) in 3 and a half months.
I am aiming to take £4,500.
Do you think this is enough?
If possible I would like to prolong my stay by working.
What is it like to get a job out there?

1Your budget should be fine as long as you don't plan to spend a lot of time in Brazil.
I get a feeling you may be trying to fit in too much in, as a rule of thumb one month is the minimum needed in each country. Of course you could spend way longer.
Working in SA is a no go. Pay is very low and you would have to work illegally. One way to extend your time is to spend most of your time in Peru and, particularly, Bolivia. You may just be able to stretch your budget to 5/6 months if you only went to Peru and Bolivia and lived as cheaply as you can.

7You'll be fine for budget. Patagonia is only really feasible in 2 weeks with flights which are expensive. I would focus on northern Argentina, ie Salta, Mendoza, Iguazu and BA. Many gringos work in hostel bars in exchange for free accom and some food. I suspect most of them drink so much they don't really save anything though.
