Applying for Chinese visa in Moscow
Hi there,I'm trying to organise another adventure... Spending time in Russia and then catching the Trans siberian to China.
I have an Australian passport and wanted to know what my chances would be of successfully applying for a Chinese visa in Moscow. I've heard that they are mildly anal retentive regarding their documentation requirements etc.
Any advice would be much appreciated

No recent reports since earlier this year when rules tightened considerably worldwide.Increasingly it is impossible to obtain a Chinese visa outside the country of your passport and / or official residence so I would not hold much hope for getting a visa in Russia.
Look at some threads about applying in Mongolia and if possible, requirements are likely to be similar.
Easiest is probably to stay put in the UK and send your passport home for the visa.
