all this is possible by bus...an example route would bela paz - sucre
sucre - potosi
potosi - uyuni - 3 or 4 day salar de uyuni tour
uyuni - la paz
though it worth bearing in mind that January is the wettest month in bolivia and this could lead to bad road conditions which would slow down travel so if you do go in January dont plan too much and leave some lee way with your time
