Siem Reap to PP

Hi people, can you pls. advise on best way to got to pp from s/r... Does anyone know cost of taxi and a good one to book,, also travel time as I am hoping to go there and back in one day, thankyou all

4.5-5 hours each way. Roughly $70-$80 each way for the whole taxi. I don't know why a tourist would want to go to Phnom Penh and back by taxi in the same day.

My buddy Savonn (cambodianboyhome@yahoo.com) can get you there and back (in his natural-gas-powered taxi!) and I'm sure he'd do it for $60.

Not worth it for 1 day. You can take a bus for about $12 (Mekong Express) that will be far cheaper and not take much longer and prob. safer.
