Transport from Frankfurt Hahn Airport to Charleroi Airport via Luxembourg
Hi Guys,I'm planning a small trip to Luxembourg and Belgium, just two days .
I will be arriving in Frankfurt Hahn airport on the 31st October at 11.30 p.m. and I'll come back from Bruxelles Charleroi airport on the 2nd November late in the evening.
My first idea was to rent a car but many companies don't let me pick it up in Hahn and drop it off in Charleroi and others have very high fares.
So I decided to do it by public transport but www.flibco.com i can't book a ticket for a bus from Hahn to Luxembourg on the 31st October. Maybe they stop this service in the very low season.I don't know.
I someone could give me information on how to move along this itinerary it would be very helpful to me.
Mainly i would like to visit Luxembourg City and the Ardennes region ( for example the Orval abbey, Bouillon etc.).
Any advice is welcome.
Thank you for your help and time.

11.30 p.m.
Thus at 23:30?i can't book a ticket for a bus from Hahn to Luxembourg on the 31st October.
I checked for another route and there the summer timetable was only valid till 27th October. Guess the winter timetable applies which is not yet available with flibco.com. An alternative might be to stay overnight an/near Hahn Airport.
Assuming the timetable won't change you are with the flibco.com bus at 01:15 in Trier at 02:10 in Luxembourg city. Where you still have to get to your hotel. With the bus mentioned at answer #1 you're at 01:06 in Bullay and at 01:35 at Cochem. These are walkable small towns. But still a late arrival you have to arrange.
At this time of the year I would stick to Trier and Luxembourg city. My suggestion
31st/1st overnight at/near Hahn Airport
1st flibco.com morning bus to Trier, sightseeing Trier
1st/2nd overnight in Trier (cheaper than Luxembourg)
2nd train to Luxembourg city (TagesTicket DeLux EUR 10,80 covers the regional trains to Luxembourg and also the buses and trams in Luxembourg), sightseeing Luxembourg city, flibco.com bus to Charleroi Airport.

Thank you to both of you for your precious advice.I hadn't considered the Trier option yet but it could be interesting.
Let'hope to see the new timetable online soon..
Any other information is appreciated.
Cheers

Hi I was browsing and looked at the bus timetable and seems the last bus from Hahn to Luxembourg is 23:10, so you would miss it. You would need to either find overnight in Frankfurt and go in morning or possibly try to go via Frankfurt except i'd think it would be pretty late (ie early hours) by the time you made it in to Luxembourg. Not sure about trains!http://flyhahn.com/frankfurt-hahn-airport/luxembourg-frankfurt-hahn-airport-bus-route-timetable.htm

The flibco site (www.flibco.com) seems to be up and going now. The last departure from Hahn to Luxembourg is at 23:40 on the 31st. If you're on a Ryanair flight, you might still be able to catch that one, since they (Ryanair) are often well ahead of schedule. Alternatively, you could take the bus early next morning - there is a relatively inexpensive hotel right at the airport if I am not wrong.
