Mwenyeji: obviously I need a new glasses prescription! How did I read "state"?However, your point amounts to the same: you're saying some Maasai villages are fake and include Kikuyu people professionally posing as Maasai. Never mind the fact that the Kikuyu and Maasai have intermarried since the Maasai first arrived in Kenya (which is another discussion), you still aren't giving a single example of such a fake village. I don't believe you're correct, but why don't you cite the villages in question?

@ Richard:Next time I am in Kenya, I will look out for Maasai villages with bill boards that display their names
.
By-the-way, are the name boards normally printed in English, Swahili or Maasai?
.
(I will then re-post on to this thread)
.

Mwenyeji, not everyone will understand sarcasm. But heh.
Even if you can't remember its name, if you can just give one example of the supposedly fake Maasai villages you're talking about, by explaining where it is in relation to lodges, camps, reserve gates, roads etc, that would be great.
You did say there were "many" such villages, and you've said this before. But let's start with you citing just one.
