Navigo Decouverte

Hello,

Can I purchase Navigo Decouverte semaine pass zones 1-5 at Charles De Gaulle airport and travel to centre by using RER train?

Can I use it also to travel to Disneyland and Versailles by RER?

Or should we just use the Roissybus (our hotel is nearby L´Opera) and single tickets to Disneyland and Versaille.

I am not sure if there is a SNCF agency at CDG. But unless you are spending a lot of time travelling from zone 1 - 5, its probably not economical to buy the Decouverte for all 5 zones. If you are spending most of your time in the centre of Paris, it probably makes more sense to buy an RER (or Roissybus) ticket to Paris, but a zone 1 decouverte in Paris for your travels, and then buy tickets for outside of Paris as required.

Note that they have recently changed the Navigo system so that a Navigo works for all zones on the weekend (so a Zone 1 Navigo is the same as a zone 1 - 5 Navigo on the weekend).

With a five-zone pass, you can use the entire network, including CDG, Versailles, the Roissybus or any other municipal transportation in the Paris metropolitan area -- except the Orlyval shuttle to Orly airport.

Thank you for your prompt replies. So in the case we can use the Navigo Semaine zones 1-5 also in Roissybus the ticket is worthwhile as it costs 33,90e + 5e = 38,90e. And it is easy to use as we do not need to spend time buying tickets.

Ticket to Roissybus two ways is 20e
Ticket to Versailles two ways is about 8 e
Ticket to Disneyland two ways is about 14 e
+ perhaps one Carnet 12,70e for Paris sightseeing

And the card is valid for 10 years so we can load it the next time we visit Paris.

When you make several trips to the suburbs, the extra zones on the card quickly pay for themselves.

Those of us who live here, however, have a new advantage with the domestic monthly Navigo pass -- the zones disappear for us on weekends and holidays, and we can go anywhere in the Paris metropolitan area.
