Traveling in Burkina

I'm in Burkina Faso and loving it.
For those wondering about safety/comfort issues, this is an excellent country to travel! I get a lot of people here complaining about the decline in tourist numbers because of the situation in Mali. But this place is untouched by it and it would be a pity to turn down the opportunity to get to know these people (the most welcoming I ever experienced in my life) and wonderful sites and landscapes.
Don't miss Banfora with the waterfalls and weird looking rocky formations (if you go there, do get in contact with the best guide in town to show you around, since places are a bit hidden and far appart: Alassane, (00226) 78210116).
Do also wander through the bush and hidden villages, if you like to camp, this is a must. People will always be very happy to see you and will feed you and shelter you. I have some experience in working in rural areas, but I think I was never hosted with such great hospitality as here. So have fun!

If you have any questions ask!
