Gyms in Addis Ababa?
So I just moved to Addis for the year. I've been here about 2 weeks and between my office job and my house I'm starting to feel restless. Does anybody know of any good gyms in town? And maybe what typical pricing is?Thanks!

Yoli is the one that Mrs_Trellis is talking about, above the H2O night club. The only gym I have exercised in, it was 80 birr last time I went, good machines, decent showers etcIntercontinental gym has great views, but less well equipped and more expenisive. 150 birr at least per session.
Hilton gym full of wealthy old Ethiopian men. More about being seen than working out, or so I hear.
Bole Rock between German bear garden and Edna Mall is also popular, do not know the prices though.

if you moved to Addis you should also sign up for internations.org and connect with Addis people and sign up for mails with addis diplo list, both very helpful

Oh yes I think Axum was B450 for 12 sessions in 2010 - (more now I'd imagine) but you could also buy 3m at a time that worked out cheaper per session.
