Looking for a Relocation Paradise for Aquiring a Few SkillsHola amigos,
My girlfriend and I are looking to relocate for about half a year, and I could really use some help here.
We need somewhere we can rent a place with a great kitchen (She loves cooking, and i'm having a body transformation experiement), and aquire a few skills in half a year.
Lessons needed -
Violin and Guitar
Bellydance or Polynesian Dance
any 'effective' martial art (BJJ, muay thai, kickboxing, boxing, whatever).
The central american countries are very very appealing (How safe are they for living?), and so is any other tropical region. We've already been to most of asia (except india/nepal/sri lanka - which are optional).
Any idea or guess of a specific place we can find most (if not all) of the above? The only places that comes to my mind are Boracay (Philippines, which I loved) and Goa (india) - but we'd prefer similar other places. (Pokhara? Atitlan?). Capital cities are a big no-no, they are usually way too industrialized and stressful.
much much appreciated

3What is your budget, roughly? it depends on that as well.
Panama is pretty nice and safe, did you post this in the Central America branch? Some people there should be better than me at answering your questions about Panama if you have any (I only spent a week there many years ago).
Anyway, sounds like an interesting project ... best of luck!

4Costa Rica is an amazing destination and you can renew your initial 90 day visa by a border run to Nicaragua or Panama.
You can certainly learn to salsa (Ticos love to dance!) and play in a Mariachi band!. Its a small country and in six months you can explore everywhere including both Caribbean & Pacific coastlines, active volcanoes, cloud forests and jungles.
