Which part of Mui Ne beach is nicest?

Nicest sand / water, not too crowded etc? Where would you stay? West (right next to Sea Links golf course) are quite a few hotels? Or closer to Mui Ne village proper, i.e. where Full Moon , Lotus Village, Grace resort, etc are? Or even further east?
thanks

Water is not nice by Mui Ne, at least not when I visited in August. Was murky. Don't think many people stay in the city itself... Didn't find it crowded. A lot probably depends on season.

The western end (closest to SGN) has the best sand and the least people. Check out Allezboo which is almost the first resort you come to. Then you can walk to eat at the Mia (nee Sailing Club)

@#2 Monty-spot on. Windy, overcrowded and full of Ruskys.
@#3 Terracotta/ Saigontourist Mui Ne are good options-Mia is over the top expensive!

I prefer Mui Ne to Vung Tau when beaches are concerned.

I was there in January and was spoken to in Russian......a lot.

I stayed a few days at Mui Ne Mai Am Guesthouse - in Ham Tien part of Mui Ne.

The beach isn't great, but it's ok. A little bit windy, and waves can be a bit big for swimming. Water a little murky. There were quite a few Russians, but not a big deal.

We were lying on the beach in front of Sunny Beach Resort today only to be moved on by a group of 5 guys, including 2 security guards. Apparently the resort owns this section of beach.

That's the problem with Mui Ne! Try near Sealink area.
