Ghana or Burkina Faso?
Hi,I have three weeks vacation in November. I will be travelling by myself. I am thinking Ghana or Burkina Faso.
Help me make my mind up!

Was about to ask the same! Thanks Voyager!Would be helpful to the rest of us if you gave some sort of indication as to what you enjoy doing?

Bonjour!French is my first language, i am from Québec.
I have been to morroco, egypt and ethiopia before.
I like trekking, the urban scene and exploring the country side.
I am ok with basic accomodations. Since it is my vacation, i don't do 12 hours trips in third class anything. I usually get the good buses or hire a driver if economically feasible.

Burkina certainly has the best buses in W.Africa, but don't get them at night!!!Some good trekking around Banfora & region (Lobi etc) but I think that you might enjoy Ghana more ... more urban scene, wider variety of trekking - or you could combine the two ...
Accommodation isn't bad in both countries, wider choice in Ghana!

As I wrote in the BF branch you can visit both in 3 weeks.In my opinion the level of french is less important. My french is lousy to non existent and I managed BF and even Niger w/o problems.
