Konichiwa Again
A quick update here: we had two more earthquakes yesterday, but very minor ones, and now we are hunkering down because typhoon #17 or #18 is heading our way and should be hitting us later this evening. There are two typhoons raging around the area right now but I don't know which one is due to slam into us. All very exciting ... and other than that my bad karma seems to have dissipated.1
The evening news out of NYC just showed a white car being blown across a parking lot in Japan's typhoon. If you weren't in it, maybe your karma has shifted.2
LOL grandma, my luck is changing I think. Yokohama wasn't hit as badly as Tokyo, but the winds were daunting, to say the least, and the noise from things being blown around was quite scarey at times. Other than that we came through unscathed, although the proposed outing to the local bath house with my daughter-in-law was put on hold. We didn't want to get blown away.
