Regarding night life in Dehradun

Hi all,

I have posted this to get some information for my trip. I have got info for the visiting places but I would like to know more about how is the nightlife there?

I was waiting for some better suggestions so that I don't have to struggle there. I thought maybe posting a new thread might attract some good response as I am looking for some fun. I didn't want to spam.

I have already been to Goa and I think I can't have same type of expectation for Dehradun, right?

JayPee Residency Mussoorie, just 45 mins from Dehradun has good discotheque. You can try some more star hotels in Mussoorie.

Finally I am back from Dehradun. Visited the Buddha Temple, FRI and local shops in Dehradun. I went to Mussoorie and Kempty fall. Overall I didn't find much of nightlife there but couple of bars were good.

If you are looking for night life in India Yuppie consider the following places in order.

1 Goa Safe for foreigners Calangute
2 Kolkata/Calcutta Safe The Park hotel 3 options, a restaurant with live music, a pub with live music , a discotheque / nightclub + bar
3 Bangalore Safe Pubs and Nightclubs Galore. Take a male companion because returning by auto late at night risky. Prefer to stay closer to nightclub.
4 Mumbai Find a Local Friend and DO NOT GO ALONE EVER. Though a safe city, but Night Clubs do have strange characters Jazz By The Bay. Pizzeria, Sea View Music, I suppose NOW THEY HAVE A DANCE FLOOR .
5 Jaipur just 1 recommendation , Steam Rambagh Palace Hotel , take your tour guide along(do not go alone) Jaipur is an MCP TOWN.
6 Delhi UNSAFE UNLESS YOU GO WITH A FAMILY IN THEIR CAR.
