I am flying into Germany and have the choice of either airport. I have been to Frankfurt before, so know that it is easy to get into the city.
The plan is to leave immediately to go to Berlin by train,so wondering which is the best airport (Frankfurt or Munich) to fly into. I know that it is quicker to go from Frankfurt, but which is the nicest route? In terms of scenery?
Also is it easy to get from Munich Airport into/out of the city as I may have to fly out from Munich. After I have been to Berlin the idea is to then travel back through Munich, Stuttgart and spend the rest of my time in Southern Germany.
Which option do you recommend?

1Hi - did you know that if you fly into Frankfurt by Lufthansa you can get a return rail ticket for €50 to any German mainline station, inclding Berlin?
perhaps that offer also includes Munich, I don't know.
However, I'd choose Frankfurt because:
a) it's a big hub so has more options
b) the main ICE train leaves from Frankfurt airport station whereas Munich airport is served by a suburban line. You have to get it into Munich before you can get a train to Berlin.

2The Munich airport is around 40 minutes out of town on the suburban train, so that could be annoying. I've done the munich-berlin train trip a few times and although the scenery is nice, it's nothing amazing.
It is very simple and easy to travel from Munich airport to the city center, the s-bahn station is right at the terminals.

3Just don't go to the Ryanair Frankfurt (Hahn) airport or you'll be at a disadvantage...
