Hi,
Me and my husband will be going to Argentina for 2 weeks this Christmas. We would like to go to El Calafate/El Chanten for about 5 days. Now we don't know if we should make Ushuaia or Bariloche for another 5 days or so; any good advice? As we are coming from Sweden, we know we will be longing for some sun that time of the year; would therefore Bariloche be a better pick than Ushuaia?? We love good sceneries and hiking.

Go to Ushuaia, much more spectacular than Bariloche. There are very good sceneries in the mountains and along the beagle channel, lots of very good daytreks and longer trekkings too, spectacular sunsests and sunrise and very good wildlfe. Bariloche is nice but more compared to the Alps. Ushuaia is wilder and more remote
