Peru, Bolivia and Argentina... Need advice

Hey All,
I am contemplating a tour with ChimuAdventures in March 2013, from Buenos Aires through Bolivia and up to Machu Picchu with a short Amazon stay. It includes Iguazu Falls, Salta, Cafayate, Villazon, La Paz, Copacabana, Puno and Cusco.
Can anyone give me advice on 1) Whether the tour company is a good one
and 2) How safe are these places for a young female travelling alone

While day tours are organised, there will be a lot of time when I would be alone late in the afternoons and I am frankly, a bit concerned about my safety.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Snatch

1) No idea
2) With common sense and normal precautions, no problem at all. Thousands of lonely female travellers backpack around these places every month. It is important to follow specific local advice and have information about common scams which can be found in a guidebook or even on this forum if you take your time
