I find Thailand to be a breath of fresh air in comparison with a so-called 'developed' country like South Korea.4

some foreigners say that they don't come away with this impression anymore, & some feel that the standard of English in Singapore has dropped...but not sure if they realise that slightly over 1 in 3 of the people they meet on the streets of Singapore these days isn't a local.
