Hasankeyf - when will it be flooded?

Does anyone know roughly when it will be too late to visit Hasankeyf? I've read a few people on this forum mention next year but I can't find anything on google. I have read that there are plans to literally move some of the archaeological sites, kinda like the Ishtar Gate from Iraq to Berlin, so I guess for people travelling there, they could be a transitional period before it's flooded that key sites will have been decimated...does anyone have any more info about this?

I have also emailed the head guy at Hasankeyf Matters to ask him to post a reply on here.

I am sure you will here from him. No one knows the situation better than the Hasankeyf Matters team, they are following the developments blow by blow.

All the best

Alison

Just to let anyone interested know, I emailed the link that Alison suggested above and I've just received the following reply:

Target dates for completion of the Ilisu Dam range from 2014-2016, so there's time for you to see Hasankeyf in 2013.
