Hi,Don't mean to offend anyone, but there are different kind of travelers around the world. Some people like to lie back and enjoy the surroundings and some people like to party. There's nothing wrong with both. And before making statements such as "asia is not a party land", you should know that there are a lot of different aspects to Asia. Being born and brought up in Asia itself, I can vouch for this. If you wanna chill, you chill. If you wanna party, you party. Simple. No one has the right to stop any individual from going to any country. Take care and godspeed.

#21 ..With all due respect , there is thankfully no frat/gap year kids type raving , party scene in Cambodia , so everybody is just informing the OP of that situation ...
Plenty of good bars playing everything from Jazz to Death Metal , you get a couple of club nights at places like the Pontoon in Phnom Penh , but that is about it .. Your not going to get anything remotely like Khao Phangan in Thailand or Vang Vieng in Lao ...
And i truly hope that it stays that way ....

I agree with the others that Cambodia is not the place to "party" in your sense of the world, but it is an excellent place to chill in some bars and meet new people. PP has some great bars around riverside, S'ville is great to chill in and watch the world go by.If you are insistent on partying hard, Thailand is really the only place to consider. Cambodia is more of a talk, chill and hang out kind of country.

So partying in Thailand and Vang Vieng and some chilling and travelling in Cambodia. Seems good as of now.
