River cruises from Ho-Chi-Minh-City to Phnom Penh

I want to go from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh by boat. I realize, that there are organized rivercruises from USD 350,-- which are bookable online. But I wonder, wether cruises would be cheaper, if I book them on location or if there are other alternatives.

Please post a link to the tours that you say make this trip for $350 by boat. Last I knew there were no longer any tours making this trip just by boat. Lots of tours that use a combination of vans/buses and boat(s) but not just by boat.

I googled Mekong Delta cruises and the fist hit has tours that price.

That trip isn't just a boat ride from Saigon to PP, it is a combination of at least 2 boats and some travel over land.

never heard of that? maybe it stops operating
I remember there is only Mekong river in Mekong Delta links to Phnompenh , not HCM to phnompenh by boat

the only direct way involving a boat. Bus to Chau Doc.then boat to P.P. $25
Or a 3 day tour of the Mekong Delta. Not returng to H,C,M.City on to P.P. by Bus or Boat
Any T/A in the Phan ngu Lao tourist area.
Bus-Boat-Hotel-2 meals $45. Just ''walk in'' the day before. Happy trip
