Will close before 10pm, but will be open early in the morning at the airport. Lion Air has an office just about at every airport I have been in Indonesia. Should not be a problem. Get a good nights sleep and wake up early for transport to airport.3
Yes, there is a Lion Air/Wings Air office in the Domestic Terminal at Surabaya Airport. You will need to pay cash for a last-minute booking; there is an "ATM Mall" between the domestic and international terminals, near Dunkin Donuts.
Alternately, you can book a flight online with your credit card here.

Many thanks to the "dude"! I've been looking for a reliable website that helps people with foreign credit cards for years. The link seems to be working for me!To the original poster, be sure to stay near the airport. (I think you figured that out already though.) It's a total waste of time and money to go all the way into Surabaya and back for such a short layover. And be thankful you don't have to deal with the Lion office in town. They are very friendly but booking a ticket there is painfully slow and tedious. Seems like offices at the airport usually employ people with a little more training (but there are always exceptions).

It is normal to buy tickets on the spot, but if you buy them on the day of departure, you are gambling with the fares. If the plane is quite full, they will cost more, if it is still quite empty, cost less on most airlines hereDude's link takes one to the site of an Indonesian travel agent, who can of course book you a domestic ticket, but will charge extra on top of the actual fare. There are actually a number of agents offering such a service.

I've used Lion Air many times, and never encountered a problem with their website. Did you use the correct link?Anyway, if you can't book through their website, when you've arrived at Surabaya, go to the Departure area of Juanda Airport (the airport of Surabaya), and look for Lion Air's ticketing office. You can buy your tickets there. I'm not sure whether or not they are still open at 10 pm or not though.
Alternatively, you can try contacting their call center at 084177 8899 or 021 6379 8000 and book your tickets there. Ask to pay for the tickets at their ticketing office at the airport.
Hope this helps.
