15+There is no need to buy a BahnCard 25. There is however currently a special offer, the Probe BahnCard 25 1+4 which may be worthwhile. EUR 29. Valid 4 months. For domestic *) German trips also good for up to 4 co-travelers.+
@ abalada Wow !! you updated a wonderful offer of Probe BahnCard25, its available for only 29 Euros. Thanks a million for enlightening. Two more question please.
1) I tried to verify if the Probe bahnCard 25 (PBC25) option showed while booking the ticket for other country or inside Germany, but I checked on both the cases only BahnCard25 is available when I scrolled by clicking on "no reduction" option (on bahn.com). Just confused if Probe BahnCard 25 is not showing for selection what to do ? Then do I select BahnCard25 ?
2) I know PBC25 I can book 1+4 passenger. Does it means I can book 2 tickets, me and my sister, as co-passenger, using ONE PBC25 card. For example, when I click on 2 adults I scroll and choose the option of 'BahnCard 25, 2nd class (incl railplus)' in BOTH the cases, is that okay ?
Sorry for behaving like a paranoid, I just want to avoid any last minutes surprised on train, if something goes wrong my sis would hold me responsible for that.

16Probe BahnCard is only a temporary offer. Thus the menus of the timetables will not be adjusted to it.
a) international trips
You must only select for the card owner 'BahnCard 25, 2nd class (incl railplus)'. For the other co-travelers 'no reduction'.
If if comes to standard fare tickets it will be cheaper to buy 2 tickets. A domestic German one with discounts for all and an international one with discount only for the card owner. If it comes to specials you have to play around to check if 2 tickets are the better option. Most likely not.
b) domestic German trips
