Hiking Wadi Qelt to St. George monastery
Hello,I will be in Jerusalem on Sep 10 and 11, and would really like to hike Wadi Qelt along the aquaducts from Ein Qelt (Mitzpe Jericho) to St. George monastery on one of these days, however as I'm a girl travelling alone and without a car, I'm no sure if this is really a smart idea.
I´d like to follow the route described here:

Could please somebody confirm if its feasible to do it with buses/taxis and if the hike really takes just 2 hours as stated there? If any fellow travellers would like to join me or recommend a hiking group I could go with, you're welcome. (PM me) . Thank you:)

The walk from Ein Qelt to St Georges takes around two hours, yes.The trail is not difficult but I'd not go there alone as it can be treacherous. Either team up with other people in Ein Qelt (though many people depart from Ein Fawwar) on week-ends, or contact Ramallah's hiking agency, they take groups of expats there every week-end: Suhail.Hijazi@gmail.com
