Euro Visa
Hey all, I know this has probably been asked but I couldnt find the answer using the search engine.so I am planning on going to Europe (Portugal, Spain, France, Green, Italy, Germany, UK, Scandinavia, ect...) leaving in late feb / early march and spending about 5/6months travelling.
I am leaving from Canada, should I look into this Schengen visa? How important is it?
A friend of mine went to Europe without a visa and spent about 8 months there. She somehow found work and all that as well.

I'm Canadian and got a working Visa and lived in Germany for a couple of months working. There was a lot of paper work involved before I could go over and they did check it when I first entered Germany and left to see why I was there for so long. I was an aupair and the family had to do up a contract and actually invite me into their home and I had to get approved for the Visa before I even left Canada. I don't reccomend overstaying the Schengen stay
