Renting apartent in Ljubljana
Ahoj!We are a young couple who are moving to Ljubljana, starting from mid-september and around five months forward. We would like to look for, and maybe decide, for a suitable apartment before we go there. We would like to live in a one room apartment, with a rent not over 450 euro/month in/or with good connections to the centre and the economic faculty of University of Ljubljana.
So, which are the best online websites where you could look for apartments? And in what area of the city would you recommend us to live in? Any other recommendations?

Hi - and welcome to Thorn Tree. There are many agencies in Ljubljana that have short and long term properties for rent.
You really do need to check the place out first, though.
Buying and renting on spec not just in Eastern Europe, but everywhere, can turn really horrible.
Imagine you see a place in a picture.
It looks great, price is right, the non-returnable deposit is affordable, as is the bond.
Then you get there.... And....
I would suggest paying for a hotel for a few nights before parting with any money.
The are too many nightmare stories of people's hearts being broken.
Another alternative is to get a flight there for a week and do the searching.
It's a small price to pay.
Best of luck with everything.
