Dijon is in the French region Bourgogne, the department Côte d'Or and has 30 different castles. They are all national monuments, nearly all of them in privat hands but open for the public to visit. It did not looks like that there are organized excursions but for better information you can go in contact with: http://www.burgundy-tourism.com/Suggestion: rent a car by yourself, find out the palces and call them to get the opening hours and the entrance fees.

Hi,Also worth considering is “Chantier mediéval de Guédelon”, where a medieval castle is under construction in the old fashioned way. De site is located 50km southwest of Auxerre, from Dijon northwest some 200 km. Website: www.guedelon.fr/
