Boston & Worcester nightlife/sports bars
Hi all,I'm going to be working and driving all around Worcester County for the next few weeks and was wondering where there are some fun places to have some fun. It looks like most of the hotels downtown Worcester are pretty expensive.
I'll also be staying one weekend in Boston (South End/Chinatown area) and am looking for some good places/areas to go for partying and just things I shouldn't miss while I'm in Boston.
In particular I was looking for a place that would be showing the USA vs Jamaica World Cup soccer qualifier on Friday 9/7 9:30 PM. I know Boston is a sports rich city and sometimes the soccer in places gets squeezed out by basketball, baseball, football, etc...
Oh, and I was wondering if there are certain areas of the city that I should avoid stumbling around alone, late at night?
I've heard good things about the city and can't wait to hit it!

When I was a kid, I lived in Shrewsbury. One day the family went to visit the Armory Museum in Worcester. If it's still there, and you're interested in historical armory of the knights, etc. I would suggest that.ADVERTISEMENT
