Best street food areas in Bangkok

Came across this blog earlier tonight. Thought it (and a lot of the links in it) was quite interesting. Some of these areas and places I know to some extent or another, some are news to me. Any thoughts or additions?

PS, I'm also bloody starving now...

Certainly a winner, I've downloaded the KML file to put it into the Iphone and Garmin for future reference. I love sites that provide this data, makes life so much easier trying to find eating spots.

Thanks

It's not street food, but there is a great place to get 3 baht kuay tiaw at Victory Monument as well.

They aren't actually on the street, but there's a KFC on the Suriwong end, and there's a Burger king somewhere there, I think. There used to be a Popeyes on Silom, which sold 'biscuits' (they were actually scones), and Sizzler does some good steaks. For dessert, you can have coffee and sweets at Mr. Donuts or Dunkin Donuts.

It's an interesting blog but unfortunately doesn't always make clear exactly what you are eating.
The biggest problem with street-food is knowing exactly what you are getting.
Statements like "Hor mok is an excellent Thai dish that’s a combination of ingredients brought together in a thick coconut cream curry." is all very well but what exactly are the ingredients ? I don't want to eat offal or brains or other bits.

There are better blogs on the internet that actually state exactly what you are getting.

Is hor mok considered a curry? I would describe it more as a coconut fish paste.

Doesn't really matter does it when you have no idea what it is ?
