A place to relax in Bobo Dioulasso
I want to plug a place that is owned by a friend on the outskirts of Bobo Dioulasso.I used to live in Burkina before moving to Ethiopia and I still like to return there at least once a year.
This place a is a relaxing spot out of the noise and pollution of the town. The owner is friendly and flexible and can arrange a great stay for you at his place and also visits elsewhere

Best of luck.My memories of this place are minimal but I do remember many years ago I was thrown out of a Voo Doo ceremony because I was thought a non believer. They were dead right of course but other than being a bloody dusty joint thats my memories.
So whats the place like now, I wouldn't mind knowing?

I don't see Bobo as a dusty place, as there are some much dustier places in Burkina, even Ouaga, or Ouahigouya, Dori, etc.Bobo, like the rest of Burkina is not the place where you go to see exciting sites, but it is a great place for people watching, hanging out at a local bar, drinking a cold beer and just enjoying life.
It is one of my favourite places in the world, but I've known it for 14 years, I speak the local language and have people there I consider as family. So I'm partial.
