Orinoco

Any tips? I'm particularly interested in the Garifuna community there and would appreciate any info, experiences, contacts --

The general Blufields, Laguna de Perlas, Corn Isles area -- accomodations, traveling within the area, things to do. I could spend up to a week in the area.

Not a lot for the regular tourist in Bluefields. Pearl Lagoon is a very interesting panga ride. Not much there. Snorkeling and diving from the cayes must be done by hiring a private boat and that can get pricey. never been to Orinoco.
