Rent apartment in Barcelona
Hallo! We are travelling for the first time to Spain this september.We are going to stay a few days in Barcelona and I would like to rent an apartment in the city.
I wonder if someone could tell me about a good place to stay for a family of 4. Good location and cleanliness are the things we really care about. No need of luxury.
Any advice will be welcome.

I only do cheap hotels in Spain - just for washing, bed and (possibly) breakfast.I'm always up and out early. An apartment is not practical for me.

Back from Barcelona! Thanks for the good advices.My family and I spent 5 fabolous days in Barcelona and Catalonia.
We could also see a match in Camp Nou. I must say that it was a little too expensive. But it was a must for the kids.
At least we saved money staying in an apartment instead of a hotel. It had all we needed and the owners were more than helpful. It was so close to Sagrada familia that we saw the temple everyday!
It was a great coincidence that they were celebrating their local fiestas "Merce" and there were many activities.
