Finland in a motorhome
Hi,I'm travelling around Europe in a motorhome and my next stop will be Finland - I'm currently in Estonia.
Can anybody recommend a ferry company to get me from Tallinn to Helsinki? And is it possible to get tickets the same day or within 24hrs?
Is it ok to "wildcamp" in Finland or is it frowned upon? If so can anyone recommend any good spots. We are planning to travel from Helsinki and follow the west coast up around to Sweden.
Thanks.

The ferry companies that go from Tallinn to Helsinki areEckerö Line
Viking Line
Tallink Silja
Linda Line
I could recommend them all. You should find prices, timetables and all the other information from their websites. Eckerö Line might be the cheapest, but I have no idea about the costs and limitations when it comes to vehicles. That info should be found on the sites as well. If not on the same day then you should be able to get tickets within 24 hours at least, I think.
Also found this site that searches all the ferry line timetables at once: laevapiletid.ee

Hi,I am wondering where you hired your motorhome through? And what the cost was/practicality of use as opposed to public transport and booking hotels etc?
I am planning on travelling for 6 weeks throughout Finalnd, Sweden and Norway and would love your thoughts as I have not yet visited these places.
Many Thanks x
