I went to see a man about a dog in Candolim / Calangute yesterday, wasn't much happening, the odd place open here and there but still fairly quiet. I imagine it'll be like that everywhere apart from the odd bar in Baga and the larger hotels. not much rain to be had but the sea is still rough.Try Bangalore instead.

In my personal opinion,Goa is charming in the rains .Provided you are not fixated on swimming. All the hotels are open but the seasonal shacks will not be.If you want to experience Goa without the crowds now is the time to Go.
