Lviv to Moscow

I will fly from Lviv to Kiev where I will connect to a flight to Moscow.

My questions:

Where do I go through customs? In Kiev?

Will I have to check in again in Kiev?

Will I be able to go from the arrival gate in Kiev to the departure gate in Kiev by just walking through the terminal?

Does anyone have any experience with the kind of routing I have?

Any info will be appreciated.

Assuming that it isn't an international flight from Lviv to Moscow with a stopover in Kyiv, then you would have to go through immigration in Kyiv because the Kyiv Moscow segment is an international flight. In fact, the two flights might not even arrive and depart from the same part of the airport.

Will I have to check in again in Kiev?
Whether you have to check in again will depend upon the airlines which you haven't indicated. If you are traveling the same airline or the airlines has an international carrier agreement or is part of the same alliance, then you shouldn't have to check in again and you should be issued two boarding passes in Lviv.

Will I be able to go from the arrival gate in Kiev to the departure gate in Kiev by just walking through the terminal?
Unlikely because you will probably need to go through immigration in Kyiv.

You might want to take a look at the Borispol Airport website

Ruth knows everything.

Thanx.

I will be using the same airline. I think both flights use terminal B. I have plenty of time assuming my arriving flight is on time.

There are websites that tell you the on-time rating for flight departures and arrivals. You might try searching for them if you are concerned. If you bought the ticket as from Lviv to Moscow then the airlines should be responsible for seeing that you get to Moscow. That means that if the first segment is delayed the airlines should have to arrange for you to rebook on another light even on another carrier to get you to Moscow. Generally speaking, you can't buy a ticket point A-> point B -> point C unless there is sufficient time between segments B and C.
