Is there a train ticket booth at Vienna international airport?I`ll be arriving to Vienna airport on saturday at 7 PM and was wondering if there´s a ticket booth where I can buy a train ticket from Wien Westbahnhof to Ljubljana as I`d like to book my seat in advance and go straight from the airport to Bratislava, I don´t really want to go all the way to Westbahnhof and then all the way to Bratislava as I have a pretty short trip. Thanks in advance for your help, CHEERS.

At the airport in Vienna, there is no ticket booth – you can only buy tickets at the slot machine at the departure platform. I do recommend you to make the reservation via telephone or e-mail, directly at the Austrian Railways:
Tel.: 0043/ 5 1717
If you like to make a reservation for a seat, you have to do this at least 4 hours before departure.

2No need to go into central Vienna to get transport to Bratislava.
Several quick, cheap, and convenient bus line transfers directly from the airport to Bratislava- This saves much time.
look here for bus info.
tickets available from driver .
Get onward ticket from Bratislava probably cheaper too.
I believe above poster works for tourism Austria but still should know this and be able to mention this alternative.

4Original Poster wants to go direct to Bratislava " I do not wish to go all the way to the Westbahnhof and then all the way to Bratislava.
Then can buy advance ticket from there and as mentioned above this way probably cheaper.

5from vienna airport to bratislava are direct busses
ther is no railway ticket booth on airport, but you can
- buy a ticket at a redd ticket machine (also can use credit card)
- you can buy the ticket in internett and print yourself www.owbb.at
the train to connection to bratislava will not be so convenient, you need first go to vienna and change bus, so better take a bus from aiport direct

6I second anto_official's suggestion. I got tickets from Vienna to Zagreb last year advance using the Austrian online system/email. Customer service was great and sometimes there are deals for advance purchase.
It was funny because so many things I read said you didn't need to book tickets in advance or reserve a seat UNLESS it was a "popular route" and we had no idea whether Vienna-Zagreb qualified as such. Boy were we glad we got the tickets in advace as the train was absolutely packed, people were wandering up and down the halways for the first hour looking for open seats.
