Passport - UK Passport with half a page left in it

I am a UK Passport holder and only have half a page left in my passport that is clear...do you think this will cause me problems at JFK when I arrive? I can find no details that you must have a whole page blank but I know how strict Immigration can be. Any help be great

I did a lot of looking around, but everything points to this: Technical Requirements for Passports. No mention of blank pages.

There is no need for room for an exit stamp, as there isn't one.

The inbound stamp, if UK Passports even get one, is a small circle the size of a large coin, about 4cm width.

In the US, you can submit yoru passport back to the National Passport Agency and for a small fee, they will unbound, add new blank pages and rebound your passport for you, with an official stamp indicating it was done. I am guessing you could do the same with your own passport which might be worth it if the thing is not ready to expire and you plan on doing lots more traveling with it. Of course, you would need enough time before your next trip cause it could take a few weeks to get processed.

I don't think the U.K. offers this service. When your passport is full, you buy a new one. I'll be happy to be told I'm wrong, of course.

A US passport holder can have this done same-day at many embassies. It used to be free, but now costs $82, which seems to me more than "a small fee."

You are right, #4. You get a new passport.

Your new UK passport can be issued with extra pages for a "small fee" though

Great, thanks, i'm going to just use this passport then rather then getting a new passport in a day and charged a small fortune! And yes as per points above UK won't issue more pages, just have to get a new one, great way to spend £80!
