Hi - not really a recommendation. We looked at prices and found them so incredibly expensive.
What we didinstead, was find a vineyard and just turned up.
It still cost money, but was cheaper than an organised tour.
We really like going to the local village shops and buying wines, cheeses and fresh warm bread.
Not everybody's solution to cutting the budget, but it works for us - and many others we know.
You'll probably get a free taster of the cheese(s) and get recommend the best accompanying wine.
€12 for 3 small cheeses, a stick of warm bread and bottle of wine.
Might have bneen a bit less or bit more, but that's pretty accurate.
Whatever your decision, hope you have a great time.

Cote means coast and along the 60km coast you have only sites in the northern quarters of Nice (Bellet) and one on the island Lerins in the bay of Cannes to visite. Have a look here: http://www.cotedazur-tourisme.com/gastronomie/domaines-viticoles-de-la-cote-d-azur-06_75.html - there are some excursions organized by minibusses for the day from/in Nice including the visite and tasting. The backland and the wine-region La Provence (Cote de Provence) offers much more. I never heard about "wine classes".4
It is called Oenologie. http://cours.oenologie.fr/marseille and the person who never heard about wine classes tell you 'merde'!
