Learning to ride a bike in St. Tropez

I am planning to spend a couple of weeks in the St. Tropez area and I am looking for either a class or private instructor to teach me how to ride a bike.
I can follow basic French. I will have a car to get me to the destination.
Does anyone have any tips?

Thank you

I wonder you don't have bikes at home!? You know how to drive a car but not ride a bike!? Where are you from?
I thought every mom and dad would teach their child to ride a bike at the age of 3 to 5.
Maybe that's not the situation everywhere, understand if not in every jungle village in Africa, but...
Sorry no tips for a tutor.

Going to St. Tropez to learn French is like going to Las Vegas to learn English. The nearest schools are in http://www.travelandlearnfrench.com/EN/find_us.php - easy to go over the bay by shuttle ships. I hope you go in the high season where it is easy to drive as there is only one street going into town with a traffic like in the rush hours on the Champs Elysees - but slower - let say for the short distance of 5km you need in this time of the year more than one hour. Stop and go, most of the time stop! It would be much better to learn riding a bike in the Netherlands in my mind as the whole population including each little children can teach it to you.

Your responses reflect on your low level. Pity on you. If it were for people like you, the world would stall.

The one good thing that comes out of it is that I am reporting this to "lonelyplanet" so they will increase members' protection against bullies like you. Hopefully, this will make the world a better place.

Better not asking in a forum is going in contact with the http://www.campusfrance.org/en/site/ministry-higher-education-and-research asking professionals - If you dont understand their answers and recommandations its not a problem as the French said 'she understand quickly if one explain slowly and often'. I dont know If they have the level you need of course.
