Hotel Recommendations

I'm looking for a recommendation for a hotel in the range of 100-175 Euros/night in an eclectic/artsy area where there would be a few bars or cafes in walking distance. Thanks in advance.

Yep... I have to admit that without a specific city it will be quite hard to answer !
It could be any hotel in the world...that will makes a long list !

Amsterdam.... Just turn up.
Oh - and you'll find something much cheaper than your suggested accommodation budget.
Good luck with everything

No need to book on-line for Amsterdam. Just turn up.
That way - if your flight's cancelled for 24 hours (it happens ! !) you wont lose your payment.
Amsterdam is so easy for last minute rooms.
