Road Trip-Chile
Hi all,I am looking to do a road trip in Chile with my girlfriend (for around 4-5) days and was wondering if anyone has tips on routes, places to visit etcetera? Preferably we would leave from Santiago. Do you have any other "on the road" tips for Chile?

Hey I did a trip with my boyfriend in Chile at the beginning of the year. We had about 4 weeks though so went all the way down to Patagonia. Pucon is definitely worth the trip- there are awesome activities from climbing a Volcano to soaking in the hot springs to cycling bikes around. You could also spend a good 4 days wandering around Valpraiso and Vina Del Mar. The important thing is to go places which interest you. A road trip to the south will eat most of your days and Patagonia is really not an option. Pucón would take you one very long day or two shorter ones. You could do Santiago, Valparaíso and a wine valley like Colchagua with in your time frame. Otherwise, with the distances involved, you won't see much but the highway. So it depends what you want to see and what time of year as well.
