Guangxi in February

I think about a short trip to Guangxi in February next year. I haven't done a research, wether the weather then would be OK, but another "problem" occured: on 10th of February will be Chinese New Year. So how many days after the 10th of February is it "safe" to go without masses on the road, no bustickets or traintickets and so on. I want to go to the lesser known areas around Baise and probably to Detian Falls, but I'm sure this area still will be affectec by this event.
Thanks for advice.

hey i'm a student in guangxi:) 1.i dont know what u mean“”busticket ..cuz we dont have to pay for a ticket ,just put money into a box. 2.people will let off firecrackers during the spring festival.but the government has fobidden to do that in downton, i think its not dangerous at all ,besides there are people cleaning the all the time ..warning : many groceries will be closed during that time,it might be alittle difficult to find something to et ..3.detian falls might not be a good place to go ..because it's winter !
