The cheapest way to go from Rio de Janeiro to Cuzco
hi there!I plan my trip to South America - I just booked ship from Europe to Rio de Janeiro. From there I would like to go to Cuzco and I am searching the cheapest way to do it - I saw plane tickets are extremly expensive and because I don't see another way to go I will take plane ticket from La Paz to Los Angeles, so from Rio to Cuzco I prefer to find something cheaper. Is it possible? And, what the most important, is it safe? Are there some buses/trains? Is it possible to find some travel agency in Rio which organise some turistic buses?

Ormeño has a direct bus from Sao Paulo to Cuzco twice a month. You can easily go from Rio de Janeiro to Sao Paulo by bus.because I don't see another way to go I will take plane ticket from La Paz to Los Angeles
I don't know if it'll be cheaper (because you don't quote the fare you are seeing from La Paz to Los Angeles nor your travel dates) but you can fly from Cuzco to Los Angeles changing planes in Lima with LAN.
