Completely unsure of where to go next!

I am a Scottish 'bagpacker' in Australia. By my terms of bag packing, i mean that i have already found myself, in my first month, settling down with some work. Dont get me wrong, this country is beautiful and i have already traveled from sydney, Byron bay, Brisbane and now Airlie Beach. But after working here (i will be situated in Brisbane for work soon) I either plan to do WOOFING for a while or talk my friend into us hiring a van to travel (i have a fear of driving, so not the best out here!) for a few months after. I will then be heading to Fiji for a couple of weeks (my mother grew up there so would love to see it) But afterwards, i dont want to head back to reality in the UK for a a while. So want to try bag packing in Asia. It is a country i would love to see, and i will probably never have the chance to see again. Plus it should be a lot cheaper. As it is my first time i have no idea where to go in Asia and would love to hear any recommendations? thanks!

Once youve finished in Tescos the obvious choice would be Indonesia. Bali maybe. Then fly to KL and from there you can cheap flights to pretty much anywhere in SEA. Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Veitnam etc..

You know that Asia isn't a country,right?

And you are (I think) a 'backpacker'...that is,someone who carries their pack on their back.

Anyway,I'd agree with surfboy.Get a cheap flight to Bali and start there....

I'd also recommend buying a guide book like the LP 'SE Asia'...have a look through that and see what sounds interesting. Its easy enough to get to most of the rest of SE Asia from Indonesia.

Then of course if you have the time (and money) you can go on to the rest of Asia....it is a huge continent.
