Travel Insurance
Hello I'm travelling to the States for 3 weeks and was wondering if anyone had any tips about what insurance company to use? I'm going to do some hiking in national parks but nothing out of the ordinary. I noticed that Lonely Planet has a link for a company called World Nomads. Anybody had any experiences with them? I'm leaving wednesday so a quick answer would be much appreciated. :)Edited by: milantifoso

Can't comment on World Nomads, but you can compare it to other options using the consolidator website http://www.insuremytrip.com. A quick check for just medical shows plans for a 30 yo at under $50. You will be locked out of some options (e.g., pre-existing conditions, trip cancellation) because you are so close to your departure date. What you look for, what's available to you, and how much you pay is going to depend on your age, trip variables, etc.3
These guys offer flexible rates and packages as well, especially if you are travelling to the states.Rbi Travel Club

Hello people, I'm not sure about world nomads, for travel insurance I usually get Aviva through their mobile app cause I tend to be really last minute in my planning, gosh!Anyway, anyone of you know about health insurance? I live in Singapore and i'm planning to travel in the SEA region for 3 months. I am looking at a couple of insurance companies, but they also seem the same. Any recommendations? I want to make sure they really cover everything (as in, accident, hospital bills, etc)...if you know some good ones please share the info!
