Quiet boogie board beach?
Please help save my relationship! My partner are planning to go away in the first two weeks of January. I'm desperate for somewhere relaxing where I don't have to do anything and happy to just sit by a beach and read, but my partner will get bored with this, but would be happy if he could boogie board off a beach as he isn't a good swimmer.
I'm looking for suggestions on somewhere to go that isn't touristy, has a lovely relaxing backdrop but has a beach with waves for my partner to go boogie boarding in January.
Can anyone help with some suggestions on where to go?
Thanks

" looking for suggestions on somewhere to go that isn't touristy, has a lovely relaxing backdrop but has a beach with waves for my partner to go boogie boarding in January"In January I would look at either somewhere near Bali, maybe Lombok or the Philippines, Sugar Beach in Sipalay would probably be perfect, have a google on it..

Ready to dump partner!Does sugar beach have surf at the beach? Sounds lovely but all the pictures show the water being flat. I suggested Bali but he has no interest in it at all.

January would probably be flat calm there, maybe have a look at Siargao..
