What is your daily pr week;y budget? Then we can suggest destinations, hotelds and maybe guides in certain places to maximize the apprecition of an area such as Central Java.

As this is your first time to Indonesia I would suggest to plan to fly to Bali Denpasar. The next day fly (2 hours flight trip) to Labuanbajo - Flores. Go see the Komodo dragons on Rinca and snorkel for a few days in Labuanbajo. Do a Flores overland trip in 4-5 days to Larantuka - Flores by private car or bus. Go with fast ferry (1,5 hour trip) to Lewoleba - Lembata island. Arrive in Lewolebo stay in Hotel Palm Indah (25 euro per night). Go to Lemalera traditional whaling village by private car (75 euro per day) or bus/truck. Stay in homestay Abel Beding in Lemalera. Next day travel back to Lewoleba. Stay 1 or 2 nights more in Lemata Island and discover the beaches and the vulcano Ile Ape. Go back to Flores to Maumere and fly back to Bali. Spend the rest of your vacation discovering Bali, Ubud, Denpasar etc.
Icontact me if you need the names and email adress of local english or french speaking drivers in Flores and Lembata Island. I would suggest to book local drivers from Flores or Lembata island. The drivers used by the tour operators from Bali are not always the most knowledgeable.
